I purchased this stretcher hoping to stretch out a couple pairs of shoes that I own. This would be my last straw before giving up and returning the shoes.For both pairs of shoes, they cut off circulation to my to my big and pinky toes. I've brought them back to the store for stretching and it wasn't enough. I purchased this fitter (mind you it only comes as one solo piece, not a pair so you have to stretch each shoe one at a time unless you buy two stretchers) to try to stretch them on my own and it worked! I've only stretched one pair since of shoes and I am now able to wear the shoes all day without fear of toe amputation.I will start stretching the other pair tonight. For the price of this shoe, it certainly is worth it. I love that it helps stretch 2 ways and it also comes with the additional nubs to help with pressure points. Those pressure points helped in stretching out the extra tight areas that turned my toes purple after 30 minutes of wear.

I’m so glad that I found this!! I just bought a pair of sandals and they were too narrow.. so I started looking, and found the foot fitter! It’s made very well, you definitely will not be disappointed I give it a A+. I bought the smaller foot fitter for women, the one that will stretch the width and length if needed. And it works!! The only thing that I found is it took a little longer to achieve the stretch that I needed. The instructions say 6 - 8 hours. I checked my shoes at that point but put the foot fitter back in. That didn’t bother me though because it work's

i’ve tried MANY different brands of shoe stretchers (i often buy shoes that are a tad too small in various directions). by far, this is the best - sturdy as all get out - stretches length and width - make sure you order the correct size !

I got this to stretch problem 6.5 shoes in my wife's closet. There are no instructions, but it's fairly obvious how to use it. The back knob spreads the shoe in width. With no spread, insert fully into shoe and adjust the intermediate heel bumper to rest against the inside back of the shoe using the round knob at the back of the bumper. Then dial in the side to side stretch with the back knob and let it sit for several hours, or overnight. I sprayed the inside of the shoe with Meltonian shoe stretch aerosol before using the stretcher. It seemed like I was over stretching the shoe as I dialed it in, but after removing the stretcher, the shoe didn't seem excessively stretched. If it isn't enough, you can always do it again (I did). End result was successfully rescuing a problem pair of shoes.

I used this to stretch a boot of a purchased from Amazon Born pair of booties that fit perfectly on my left foot, but pinched on the right. The stretcher is well made, the instructions are clear, and 8 hours laters, the boot feels great. There are several small metal additions to the wooden foot that allow customization for something like a bunion or hammertoe.I’m giving the tool a day to rest, then on to a pair of high-heeled Cole-Haan loafers that are too snug on my aging (widening) feet after 22 years.Love this. Highly recommend.
