Fascinating but Messy
This book is packed full of very useful and compelling information, but I recommend it largely as a book of "leads" to spark you to pursue further research elsewhere. The book is irritatingly full of typo, spelling, and grammar errors, suggesting it never went through the hands of an editor. Its large number of printing-goofs led me to question whether its statistics and citations might also contain sloppy mistakes. It is poorly organized, making discerning readers yearn for an editor to place "like with like" and delete repetitions. That said, I gained excellent ideas for further reading, and Dr. Dach is clearly a trail blazer who raises crucial questions about the way modern medicine is practiced. So use it as a breezy reference to further research, English majors grit your teeth, and we can all hope that Dr. Dach will put out a later edition in partnership with a sharp-eyed editor.

Nice review of what's new...
Just finished reading Natural Medicine 101. I'm a retired doc who is interested in natural meds. This book gives a good overview about a lot of subjects in natural meds. I recommend it for anyone interested. However parts are very dry. On the other hand, it's WORK to stay healthy and one must persist. One real asset of this book is that it is scientifically referenced. And I checked a few references for further info. Nice to have backup.

Naturall Medicine 101
Dr. Dach's intense experience as a conventional medical doctor enhances his thorough research and information about conventional FDA approved medications and alternative therapies. His explanations of what has caused a disease and why conventional meds or treatment might or might not be effective, and what alternative therapy might be considered are very helpful and his candid evaluations are backed up with references to related studies.

Great for Home Library but has limitation
I'm glad I purchased this book. It's going to be a great asset to our family library and in my quest to keep my family healthy. At first glance I wanted to return this book but after letting it sit around for a while and looking at it here and there, I have come to appreciate this book.
