BATT indicator
I used the red light to duplicate the Batt light on my 95 S-10, with a 510 ohm resistor across the light, +12 in from the pink wire (run/start) on the 10 Amp fuse, my own wire output, bypassing the brown wire to the "L" terminal on the alternator. I lost the brown wire output from the dash to the alternator, which caused the alternator to look bad.

Good for the price but buy extra
Had a couple of these that were DOA but the others worked great. At the price point I'm ok with buying a couple extras incase of defects.
