Not thick enough imo to practice for tattoo artists, you want to be around 1.5-2mm in the skin and this is barely 1mm, practicing proper depth you will blow out consistently

Q: are these worth the buy ? for a beginner trying to learn on fake skin

Depends on the type of tattoo you want to practice. I bought this to practice stick and poke and it’s no good. It doesn’t hold the ink very well. However, I’m not sure if you’d get the same result using a machine.
