The 24" model is in two pieces that are not thread indexed so they are wobbly.
The materials are decent quality, I have ordered a few varieties lately, different finish and different lengths.The 24" is a bad design, the rod is not one-piece and it threads in the middle. When snug it is not indexed so you wind up mounting it with a loose center (so the two mounting feet are fair to the mounting surface) leaving a rattly towel rod. I had to shim the threads with teflon plumber's tape to make it less rattly.The smaller sizes are one piece and have much better quality control.
