My Big Barefoot Book of Spanish & English Words (Spanish and English Edition)

I love this book! We are a family that doesn't speak Spanish at home and just want some exposure to the language. It is a good upgrade from the basic "my first 100 Spanish words". I love the illustrations and topics in the book. Colorful, adorable and words are well positioned and spaced out. The kids are attracted to learn just by its design and im looking forward to learning with them.

There were several torn pages that had been taped back together and one they obviously missed. The book itself it great.

For use with non-English speakers, this book is a boon. Pictures for nouns and some adjectives will really help to bridge the gap between English and other languages. Terms are grouped together, such a foods, household items, animals, etc. I haven't had the opportunity yet to use the book, but I believe that it will be a good resource for beginners in English.

Purchased this book to help my children to see a visual and the pronunciation of each item in the house. Both of my children love the book and have enjoyed it. They've enjoyed it so much so, that when I asked them to bring a book for a doctor's appointment the oldest chose that one and was reading it in the waiting room.

Doesn't have the spanish word for "underwear" in it, otherwise it is pretty comprehensive.

my grandson takes Spanish in school, he is in the third grade.

I like this book. We picked up both the English version as well as the Spanish/English version.Slowly but surely we are both learning Spanish as we explore the rather energetic and busy drawings of life scenes. At times the images are a little small and the text a little squashed. My son (23 months) can't get enough of illustrated word books. This one is of great quality. Presentable for gifts etc. Hope this helps?

Nos ha gustado mucho, tanto que si tenemos que hacer un regalo nos parece un regalazo. No lo dejamos a mano , sino a la vista en estante pero debe pedirlo para usarlo porque las hojas son normales, finas,y aún las pasa bruscamente y puede romperlas fácilmente. Por lo demás genial,aprendemos mucho los adultos también.

Lots of great illustrations and a bit of a story to tie it together. My only critique is that there are some detailed words that I don't think are super necessary for young children like “thatched cottage” or “arborist” but thats just a personal preference.
