The colors are great; the mechanism is adequate although they appear in the ad to fly a little farther than we experienced. Sending them in a card or box is like sending giggles to a friend or loved ine.

Should have paid attention to the size. I bought an explosion box and it popped up as "bought together". I thought how great that would be to have in the center explosion box. What a great idea. Not sure if there were alot of people who didn't pay attention to the size either or if there were alot of people that bought explosion boxes who also just happened to buy butterflies unrelated in the same order but they do not fit in the explosion box. Cute to put in cards

This seems to be in the bottom 10% of my purchases. Only two colors (dark red & black) and only two designs. One of the designs seems overly demonic. I was expecting colorful, happy butterflies.

You have to put a lot of butterflies in a box for them to fly up. Many times they untwist in the box.

She loved them and we gave the rest to kids these worked great

Used these for my daughter's 16th birthday. After spinning 16 of them and waiting for her to open the box, only 1 made it more than 2 feet. The other ones kind of flopped around, not really flying at all. Kind of disappointing...though the patterns are pretty.

Took one out and they don’t really fly around, not impressed, kept them to give as gag gifts.
