The Tattoo goo is a fantastic aftercare balm, it sticks around, moisturizing the tattoo much longer than other aftercare creams, and ointments that I’ve used in the past in addition to it has a delightful scent. It doesn’t seem greasy, but it is long lasting.

This stuff is the BEST for me hands down. Makes tattoo healing SO smooth comfortable and effortless. I have tried aquaphor and h2O tattoo aftercare but those literally gave me a breakout on areas you didn’t even think you could breakout on lol. Way too thick and greasy for me. But this one is perfect, breathable and moisturizing and smells nice. Even soothing. Can’t recommend enough.

I have a lot of tattoos, and this is easily the best aftercare product I’ve used. I’ve tried other brands before, but I always come back to Tattoo Goo because it just works. It keeps my tattoos moisturized and feeling good while they heal. Shipping was fast, and the product was the same great quality I’ve come to expect. It arrived exactly as expected and did not disappoint. I’ll definitely keep buying this.

This stuff is the BOMB!!! I’m glad I listened to him because my tattoo was red and hurting and scabbing up! I started using this stuff and within a week it was completely healed up and I still put this stuff on all my tats bc it makes them look fresh!! Love this stuff!! Wish I had bought a larger container!

I love tattoo Goo. It works well an I love the scent of it. I use it on all my new ink and it even makes older ink pop nice.

Tattoo Goo Pros: Scent (I like it, Eucalyptus-y?) Easy to spread. Thicker than a lotion but easy to spread even on freshly inked sensitive skin Perfect for travel or taking to work/wherever you may want something during a long day Seems good for color Cons: Scent (it has a scent, many products don't and you may not want a smell) Expensive. Over $11 an ounce, even doing thin layers it doesn't last terribly long for larger areas. The cost per ounce and how long it lasts and why I took off the star Lubriderm Pros: Very inexpensive and available everywhere. I'm seeing $0.11 per ounce Easiest to spread as it's a water based lightweight lotion Scent free, leaves no residue or stickiness or tackiness Great for freshly healed, long term, non tattoo'd skin, any dry areas, if you are only going to get one for cost or simplicity get this one. Cons: None really. It is thinner being a lotion and whether there is anything to it or not, on a fresh tattoo that needs healing I prefer something heavier, a balm or ointment, to feel like I"m leaving a slight protective layer (very slight) vs it all just absorbing in and being "done". But really, absorbing in and being gone is probably what you actually want so Lubriderm is just really good especially long term as it doesn't leave any perceptive residual residue Hustle Butter Pros: Vegan, Scent Free Color pops (might be psychological) Feels the most protective when applied to a fresh tattoo Feels like it stays around and lasts longer per application Con: Much harder to spread than the others, difficult to get full coverage on larger pieces especially without irritating the skin with the amount of pressure and work needed to spread the product out thin enough. On a fresh tattoo I feel like I'm either irritating it with too much spreading, or it's on too thick. I don't use it on fresh ones any more due to this. Price is middling at $4.75/oz right now, not bad Aquaphor Pros: Price is very good at $1.35/oz right now, and it's available everywhere in different sizes Easy to spread, yet thicker and feels more protective than a lotion. Goldilocks consistency Scent Free Cons: Leaves a little more residual residue than you might want for regular long term use, I think Aquaphor is exceptionally good for fresh and healing tattoos but Lubriderm lotion is my favorite for regular long term use.

I've used just regular lotion for my past tattoos, even though this stuff has been around forever...game changer. I love it! Stays on long yet absorbs great.

I like this stuff. it smells good and it seems to be propelling my tattoo healing process forward with thorough moisturization. HOWEVER, the tin is challenging to open - literally my only gripe.

Used it as directed on my giant hip piece. I was all healed up with minimal peeling/scabbing in about 8 days. Great product.

I've used this for all of my tattoos in the first couple of weeks for healing. I wouldn't say it revives old tattoos, but it certainly helps promote healing. Its quite greasy and waxy, and you don't need much so it lasts a good I'd say maybe 2 months depending on the size of the piece, using it 3 times a day. Weirdly though, my dog seems to have taken quite a liking to it......something to be wary of on a healing tattoo! (I've started reviewing products I buy purely because it really annoys me, all those reviews with I got this for free for an honest review. I hope this helps!)

Great for new tattoo care. Nice scent as well.

This is my go to tattoo cream/goo for quick healing. Technically don’t have to use much on your skin but if you do slather on a little thicker, it feels a little oily (but not sticky). I wish it came in a larger container for larger tattoos but buying a few containers also works great.
