Michelin London City Map - Laminated (Michelin Write & Wipe)

This map was great for planning before I went but once I arrived in London I realized that many areas of London, including the one where I was staying, is not included. The one part I actually ended up using quite a lot is the tube map on the back, which was quite helpful and the only reason I scored this product a 3. If you're planning to visit zones 4-8, plan to use another map (either with this one or on its own).

This map was such a helpful tool when in London. It shows most of tourist London. The wipe on/wipe off feature of the laminating made planning days very easy. Using dry erase markers to plan each day helped us get to each site with ease. I definitely will take this map with me every time I travel to London!

This map covers the most pulsar tourist spots in London. The laminate has a nice surface I can use with dry-erase markers to plan our trip. It's lightweight and fold up nicely so I can carry it in my bag in case we don't want to use our phone map apps.

Great for planning our stay in London. I located the sites we want to see in dry erase marker to plan the most efficient use of our time. I can wipe off changes in itinerary and what we have already seen.

Exactly what I needed. plastic coated on both sides. large scale. just wished the large scale west end section had not obscured parts of London (Lambeth, imperial war museum) but no big deal. better than carrying an atlas. thanks.

Acquisto azzeccatissimo! La mappa purtroppo si limita alla zona centrale di Londra (già Notting Hill non appare), le strade sono chiare e precise. La zona di Soho- Trafalgar- Covent Garden e Oxford Street è ulteriormente ingrandita con una mini mappa a parte. C'è la piantina della metro (zona centrale) e una mappa della Greater London con la periferia. Ma la vera grandissima utilità di questa piantina è che è fatta di materiale plastificato, che non si rompe dopo 15 giorni di viaggio e specialmente che può essere consultata anche durante il diluvio universale (e Londra, come sappiamo, in quanto a pioggia non scherza!!!). Non si può partire senza.

La cartina si presenta corredata di informazioni turistiche utili e, grazie alla misura da tasca, è comoda da trasportare, ma ha alcuni difetti su cui non ho potuto transigere: il materiale, è effettivamente laminato, nel senso che è proprio una lamina di plastica piegata, il che la rende sicuramente impermeabile ma anche molto rigida e, cosa più importante, pare causare problemi agli angoli delle piegature che sembrano rovinarsi velocemente, cosa che odio. È presente la mappa della metropolitana, ma è piccola, in un angolo, scarsamente fruibile.
