Waste of money
I was very disappointed with this book (or novelette). There are very few pages for the price of the book, and I feel the writer used Gary Barlow as a snare to get Thatters to buy the book. The first 16 pages are full of pages of quotes, one page that tells you "This is a work of fiction, loosely based on real events", acknowledgements etc. The story was average at best, but at 127 pages felt very rushed. I should have read how many pages there were before purchasing it (although it states 152 pages in the product details, the story does not start until page 17) but had it been a decent read, I wouldn't have minded. The fact that at one point the young male character tries to have sex with an underage child and the story slips into soft porn, was very creepy. I personally think it was a waste of money and any true TT fans should buy one of the other TT books out there.I was very disappointed with the story, and the price of the book. I was disappointed with the size, as it is mentioned as being 152 pages, but that includes 16 pages before the story even starts and 8 pages at the end advertising where to leave a review, another quote, a blank page, meet the author and meet the publisher!I won't spoil the ending, but it was very strange and left you feeling very awkward. A total waste of money, and I won't be Back for Good for any more of blogger Luisa Cartei's books as it would be more interesting reading the backs of the Take That dvds I have.I paid £16.49 inc p&p for this book, and had high hopes, because the book was £13.50 at the time (it has now been reduced slightly), but unfortunately it was just a money grabbing effort using Gary Barlow's name in the title to draw you in.

Amazing read, thrilling, emotional, honest, don’t miss it
A 5 star reading, great prose, I loved the characters and the story line. Much better literary quality than any book out there about Take That and frankly, of many “literary books” in general.. Alice is a teenager in the 90’s with a true passion for Gary Barlow. The story brought me back to those amazing times. I loved Robbie Williams myself but I identified with the author’s passion and capacity to bring to life all the concerts, the wait, the dreams and ultimately the incapacity to fit in with my peers at that age. It’s a very innocent book, beautifully written, dealing with some very deep topics, which made me cry and laugh in almost every page. I really wish Gary Barlow himself will take a notice of this book and they can make a movie out of it! I think all Thatters should buy it and most importantly all the teenagers of the nineties!

For all those who dreamt they’d one day become Mrs Barlow, Williams, Orange, Howard or Owen
A must read for any teenager of the 90’s, especially the Take That fans. A fun coming of age story which brings back a rollercoaster of teenage emotions! Will Alice bag her crush read on and see........
