The black hands against the deep blue dial are difficult to read; there is a reason marine authorities require contrasting colors on boat registration, etc. I am going to have to paint the hands white so I can see them. That really is my only complaint with this clock. It adds much to the spirit of my living room, which features dozens of photos i have taken underwater on 15 years of scuba trips to the caribbean.

It looks, nice, however, there is no clear cover to protect it. Was there supposed to be a second hand? Mines didn't have one. So far the time is accurate about 3 weeks now.

Great quality larger than I expected however granddaughter excited to decorate her nautical bathroom

Bought this as a Xmas gift for my friend who loves turtles. Well we opened a brand new pack of batteries, tried all 8 of them....the clock does not work. Sent it back
