Works on walleye - northern Wisconsin
Went on a walleye (spring opener) fishing trip to northern Wisconsin. Caught the biggest walleye of the whole group on this flicker shad, fire tiger #7. Worked for me. Kept boat in 10-12 ft of water. Casting toward shore in 3-5 ft of water. Slow retrieve back. 4 ft, 8lb fluro leader w/ braid running line.

I live in south Florida and find this lure to do wonderful with Peacock Bass and the largemouth down here, the retrieve has variance and a lovely swim action.

Flicker Shad are Steelhead Candy
The Berkley Flicker Shad 7 is the ultimate steelhead trolling lure for 5 to 12 foot depth, when not using clip on weights. It will go deeper with clip ons. I've found natural colors and chrome work well. +1 of additional species such as channel cats!

Great action
The lure works good. Was looking for the 1/4 oz, 2 3/4" lure. When I ordered it came up as 5/16 oz, 2 3/4". When the lure arrived it was a 3", 1/3 oz lure. Notified them they sent the incorrect one, so they sent me another one, just like it. I had trouble on the webpage because I couldn't order the one I wanted. When I thought I had the right lure selected, and ordered, it turned out to be the wrong one.

The product itself is fine but can be had for much less at other retailers. Amazon is often a good choice value wise, but not always and one must be mindful..That is the case here.
