These are easy to handwash and colorful enough to hide stains, and have helped cut down on paper towel usage. I also like being able to dress up my table settings a little bit even for one-person meals--kind of visually creating the triggers to remind me I need to sit down and appreciate mealtimes, not just grab a wad of paper towels and scarf down my lunch in front of the computer like a feral creature granted a few minutes' reprieve from typing into the electric anger box. On wrinkles: They aren't going to be crisp and cute unless you steam or iron them, but just folding them right out of the dryer keeps them tidy enough for personal use. If you're not the type to be on top of folding your still-warm laundry, uhh.... maybe take a pass. On thickness: Calling these napkins is a bit of a stretch. They are THIN fabric, basically just single-sided cloth cast-offs with a hem around the edge to prevent [most] fraying. You will still have stray threads that need to be trimmed. One tiny little cotton square will not be adequate for soaking up a spill or handling a very messy sandwich or taco. This is more of a "dab your mouth daintily" kind of napkin, maybe one step above a cocktail napkin, but not as substantial as a quilted paper towel or thick cloth napkin. I also suspect that if you have even a basic sewing machine, you could make your own batch faster than ordering these square cloths. However, for my purpose these are fine! I'm happy with the purchase.

Great set of napkins. I stopped using paper napkins and started using these for daily use. They've gone through several washings and still look good. They are thin but work well. They actually work better than the thicker traditional dinner napkin. Love the different patterns.

These are cotton square napkins. I purchased as everyday napkins for meals and kitchen to cut down on single use paper napkins. They are beautiful and reasonably priced. They wash well, — colors don’t fade and I use HOT water. I have not found that they need ironing as others have reported.. Some (1-2 ) do not fold quite square but are fine for my purposes. Liked them so much I ordered more to cut down on frequency of laundering. I wash the whole bunch once a week and have plenty. Of course if you have a large household you may want to purchase an extra pack- just saying. Nice hostess gift too!

I own many of these type of napkins. They are thin but wear well getting softer with time. My family enjoys the prints and colors. We keep a bowl of them on our table for convenience and they look nice. I ordered a set for a friend but the wrong set was sent. The ones I received are ok but I know she would have preferred the colors and prints of the ones I selected. Just know you may not receive what you ordered. I will still give them to her but I wasted time looking for the perfect set.

We are a fabric napkin family and somehow made it down to our last couple. I went on a search for something colorful and well made. For some reason, all I could find in the stores and online were simple white and solid colored napkins. Then I ran across these Hand Block Print Napkins. These are exactly what I was looking for. I ordered 2 sets- 20 total. There were no duplicates patterns in one set. With the second set included, I did have one duplicate pattern. The other 18 are all different patterns. These napkins are true to size, absorbent, wash well and hold their shape. I am considering a 3rd set to have on hand as back up. The order arrived within 2 days.
