Great cover for metal electrical box
Just what I needed to convert my extension cord to multi-outlet power supply for variety of power tools when doing projects. Rugged cover and has the hardware to fasten outlets securely to the cover.

Just the cover I needed.
I needed to add an outlet to a box in my shop. The two large national hardware supply stores don't stock this anymore and the local hardware store didn't have it so to Amazon I went.Just what I needed to add another duplex outlet.

I got this because I knew it would be sturdy
I have a part time handyman business and I created an multi-plug electrical outlet so that I could have several power tools plugged in at once. It can take quite a bit of job site abuse so I am delighted with how it came out.

Difficult to assemble
For what it is, this is well constructed, good fit and finish. 5 stars there. Taking off a point because it's very difficult to get the outlets installed into the face, rather than the junction box itself. I had to break off the drywall ears to get the outlets to fit, and then wiring the outlets and screwing them to the face was a tetris puzzle of what to do first. Next time I'll get a junction box with outlet mounting, and put on an ordinary faceplate.

use the tabs as nuts
good if you realize the tabs are used as nuts to attach upper and lower tabs of outlets to plate,,,center outlet screw is not enough to anchor the outlet. use the removable tabs as nuts to secure the top and bottom tabs of the outlet ( after breaking the ears off ) for a more secure attachment than the center screw

Don't be fooled
I was purchasing these based on the description and photo. DO NOT BE FOOLED. Unlike many covers available out there these do not have the center face plate mounting holes. I specifically ordered these because the one and only photo they bother offering clearly has the center face plate mounting holes. If this isan important feature you are better off not buying from Amazon and just going to your loval hardware store.
