Light weight
I'm a college student and have a ways to walk outside to my classes. I like that this is light weight enough to carry in my backpack in case of rain. Its super cute too.

Good umbrella but one arrived defective
At this price, I don't expect perfection, but one of the two umbrellas that we bought arrived with a bent rib. It was promptly replaced by Amazon, and the replacement works fine. However, the damaged umbrella suggests that the Totes quality control is not what it used to be.The umbrellas open to a reasonable size, and the automatic mechanisms work well. Despite the need to replace one umbrella, I'd buy this product again.

Very disappointing!
This umbrella broke three months after purchase... It was a gift to my sister! Conveniently after the return or replacement window closed. She clicked to open it and it just fell apart, the handle broke it three and part fell into a gutter full of water. Plus she got wet!Very sad because she loved it, it matched her boots!

Good quality umbrella, compacts down and fits in my backpack side water bottle pocket. Collapses by one button push. Love it!

Not as advertised
I love Totes Umbrellas and have used them for years. This one says it is automatic open and close but it is automatic open only - you have to manually close it. I complained to the seller who said they would check on it and get back to me - that was two weeks ago and I have heard nothing. Will NOT buy from this merchant again but will always go back to Totes! Great products!
