This is a fun, engaging game! It works just like the "brand name" version of the game. My kids had no trouble setting it up. Set it up with the cubes and game board upside down, and you'll be ready to play in less than a minute. The cubes fit just fine. It's perfect for little ones who are developing the motor skills. It's also great at working the executive functioning part of the brain to figure out where to logically pound next. The cubes aren't too easy or too hard. It's great for a variety of ages. It also shows cause and effect, which is a big part of developing. I'll be using this with many kids. You can't go wrong here.

So, I've purchased this 3 times now. Originally for me. Then one for my niece. Then for myself again cause i gave mine to my in-laws. Im giving this less than 5* because with this latest purchase the quality of the parts went down. The ice breakers are flimsy and the ice pieces have less pressure holding them in. Also, the spinner is REALLY tight and the rules have changed. The spinner had 6 possible: 1 white, 1 blue, 2 white 2 blue, 2 of each or skip. Now its only 4 possible: 1 white, 1 blue, 1 of your choice or skip. Still a great fun game that anyone can play though.

My daughter thought this game was great!!! She had played don't break the ice before and really enjoyed it. She was really excited to get a game that reminded her of it.I was glad that she is able to set up this game herself. It allowed her to play this game with her friends and I was actually able to accomplish my own task!

Great game that both of my boys love as well as their friends and cousins (and me). My kids are 3-7 years old. The game takes about as much time to setup as play, but setting it up is really good for them to be a little bit more careful when playing (similar to Jenga, you don't want to smash it instantly after all the work of setting up). It is also really good for their motor skills and teaching my younger son some patience.

Cute gift to give. Easy to setup and instructions. I appreciate toys that are more hands on experience. This toy challenges people to pick plastic ice bricks but to avoid sending penguin down the hole.

Such a simple, yet fun game. It came with an extra "ice" block. Instructions on box are in Chinese English so it's kind of hard to understand but once you see how it's played, it's fun. Not sure if there is a pattern on the tiling, so we just made once up.

Fun game. Deducted one star because it does not come with any spare pieces and if you lose more than a couple, you are hosed. But for the price, a very fun game.

Came complete with all parts and nothing missing, little cousins loved the game and I had fun playing it myself! Totally fun and fair unless Leah starts to cheat when Dunkey should have won.
