I needed elbows for 90-degree 2 in. exposed pool pipes during cold spells, and I didn't think this would work, based solely on the picture the seller used to advertise the product. So, I asked Rufus, and his response was that this insulated elbow was made SPECIFICALLY for a 90-degree elbow. I was very pleased when I opened the box of 10 elbows which were all perfect 90-degrees of insulation for the hardest thing to find to use in cold weather protection. I wish the sellers would change the image for this product for one that truly shows what it looks like for those who are trying to find something that will fit perfectly those hard-to-find joints for exposed water pipes. I've enclosed a picture so that you can see what the product truly looks like before you, like me, decide that it will not fit your 90-degree elbow joint on your exposed pipes in frigid weather.
