Learn Java in One Day and Learn It Well (Learn Coding Fast)

This is a concise, well written, and well organized book. I didn't even realize I was 'learning' until I was coding a project and got it correct without double checking punctuation, spelling, capitalization, etc. One warning, though, unless you're one of the lucky few who can pick up a skill simply by reading, coding the projects by hand transcription is almost a necessity. I love this book so far.

I use this for my comp sci students who want to learn more. It's a decent book for beginners but can be a challenging read for young students just learning. Very clearly written and a good book to have in the classroom as a resource.

Good luck in learning this in 24 hours if your just beginning. There is very little exercisess and too much dry technical knowledge. Book assumes to much of the reader and if your just starting out avoid this book.

The author is very clear and the projects are well thought out. It is a very approachable book that was very helpful to me as a refresher having been away from Java for a while and not having a lot of programming experience in general. This book made it possible for me to quickly get back up to speed and complete a project on time.

Very easy to follow. While one probably could do the whole thing in a day, it took me about a week doing a couple hours at a time.

Written very well and easy to understand. I bought this book before a college final and it saved me, i was able to read the whole thing in a few hours and it explained topics to the perfect amount of detail.

I was happy I was able to find this book and get it before the class started great price and condition that it arrived in.

Bought this to bring my Java programming up to speed for Android (although have now moved on to Kotlin). Really well written and very clear code examples. As a quick and easy guide to Java syntax and constructs I'd recommend this book.

Despite what the title of the book says there is no way you can learn JAVA in one day even with the book. Informative and code to download so I would recommend as a start.
