CUJO Cujo Smart Internet Firewall with Lifetime Service / 1CU0001ALT /

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!! I bought mine from Best Buy a little more than a year ago. It worked as advertised. But when I upgraded my internet to have higher bandwidth, that’s when all my problems started.On average I receive 235 Mbps download speeds (wired and wireless) but with the CUJO in play, I was only getting maximum 94 Mbps download speeds. I contacted customer service to see if they could resolve the issue, or if there was a firmware update that my CUJO hadn’t received yet. Customer service was not helpful at all.Every time I emailed them, a different person emailed me back. AND three of them gave me the same cookie cutter answer. I was not happy to say the least. To top it all off, when I confronted each and everyone of them with undeniable and verifiable proof of what was going on, they still stuck to their cookie cutter answer. I was VERY patient with them to give them the opportunity to fix the issue with their device, but it was a complete waste of my time and money. I now have a piece of junk that I spent $200+ for.CONCLUSION: If you are looking for a firewall for your home network, DO NOT BUY a CUJO. It will decrease your bandwidth and the customer service is not good at all. Try looking at SonicWall. We used that at one of my previous positions, the only disadvantage is that it requires you buy licenses for the separate features.(Side note: I am a IT professional that works for the US Government. If the site wants to verify purchase I can send in the email traffic between myself and CUJO customer service.)
