The Fabulists: How myth-makers rule in an age of crisis

Engrossing read
Very engrossing book which goes into the background of some quite suspect leaders. Covers some time and a range of personalities none of whom come over as positively as their PR would want. The author does quite a lot of fact checking within the book and doesn't hold back from sharing his own perspectives. Read the book in chapter order but would be sufficient to read a few chapters on their own. Given the speed of developments, there's clearly no real conclusion to the narratives as it was published pre Covid-19. Well worth reading!
