I'm absolutely in love with this blouse! It's beautiful and the lace is so soft. It's very well made and worth much more than the $21 I paid for it!I read all the reviews and sized up, which I don't think I needed to do. My bust is 34 DDD, but I'm slim everywhere else. I could have gotten away with a Large, but the XL still works. I did have to sew a pleat in the cuff because the sleeve was too big at the wrist. Other than that, this blouse is perfect and I got so many compliments when I wore it!

I’d purchased this in Medium about a year ago for a costume…and it was just a bit too tight in the bust, creating a gap where it buttons. I’ll use it on another costume for someone else…and I just re-ordered it in Large for better fit. A very cute blouse, nice quality. Other than having originally ordered one size too small for myself, I LOVE this blouse. I wear a 10, approaching an 8 once again. The Large fits perfectly with no gap at the buttons, yet fitted to my figure. The Extra Large fits, with just a little extra room all around.

Lovely top, very comfortable. Beautiful blue color. Love that it was made out of cotton. And not fully polyester.The style is charming, very on-point for Victorian outfit. Love the pleats.It’s one of those items that you have to try on, as It didn’t fit well for me. the Kneck was too tall. and it fit well in the shoulders but for my body the bust was tight and pulled.

For Reference, I am 5'4", 1oo lbs., 36B (On a good day, LOL!!) After reading ALL the Reviews, I ordered this in Apricot & in Medium. Normally, I wear a Small, but all the Reviews said this blouse runs a tad bit small, so, I ordered a Medium. Now, for this piece of perfection. This blouse is just ABSOLUTELY beautiful. There are NO complaints, at all. The ONLY thing is, the lovely buttons should be tightened. Before I wear it, I am going to reinforce the buttons, but I have to buy the correct thread color. Other than this VERY minor problem, it is good to go. I just do NOT want to lose a button, because they are SO lovely. It has a great lining, NO see-thru in this lovely blouse. I am also going to order several more in different colors. It reminds me of a beautiful picture of Princess Alexandra of England, later, wife of King Edward V!!, taken in 1880. If you like old-fashioned blouses, with beautiful sleeves & buttons, then, THIS blouse is for you !! It TRULY is just beautiful & the quality is BEYOND excellent !!

Unfortunately this blouse looks nothing like the picture in person. The sleeves are straight, without that blousing effect you see in the ad. The collar is just high enough to tickle and be scratchy, so I am wearing it folded down, and will probably sew it down permanently. I ordered a size up, knowing that these imported garments are often quite small, and it is still probably half a size too small. My suggestion is order 2 sizes up and take it in a little, if necessary. You can always put a "dart" in the bust line, but you can't add fabric! The buttons are OK, but pretty far spaced. You will need to wear a slip or full coverage underneath. Another star off for length. It is shorter in front than in back. So 3 stars is "OK". It's black. It's Victorian(ish). It came quickly, and I needed it quickly. It washes and drip dries fast. Don't expect a miracle.

Really cute shirt and was surprised that the ace and fabric was so nicely made. The fabric was more of a cotton texture and breathable. While not historically accurate at all, and not intendedto be, it stood up really well for my 1909 Suffragette Costume.The down side is that the buttons were pretty loose. Some have already fallen off and I had to re-attach. I haven't washed it an am a little afraid to.For my size, I thought it was a but short, but not too big a deal as I was tucking it in.Idk if I would wear this at a staple of my wardrobe, but it worked brilliant for Halloween!
