The main issue I have with these feeding ledges (I have two) is that there is no protective material over the magnets used which are only encased in silicone. I don't know if the people applying the silicone are children or just don't care about their work but it is applied very sloppily and poorly. After having these ledges for only about 2 years, all of the magnets are rusting, which is ruining my terrarium glass, looks terrible and I can't imagine is good for my geckos. There are many options for crestie supplies on Etsy, handmade (or 3D printed) by artists who care about their work, with magnets just as strong that are properly secured. I had been recommended this brand by multiple crestie forums online but cannot justify keeping these out of the garbage any longer. If you are interested in how to clean it, use antibacterial dish soap and a plastic scrub brush (because people on here can't seem to figure that out). The foam is not the problem. The lack of care in putting these together is.

Sturdy little feeding ledge. Gecko loves it and I’m not afraid it will fall like the suction one I had. This is very sturdy and will hold a few full grown lizards without a problem. VERY HAPPY

Definitely some mixed feeling about this. Firstly, is COMPLETELY overpriced. I had no idea I was getting a piece of painted foam for $20 until after ordering and reading some reviews. The colors of the “rock” are brighter than pictured, orangy-red and bright brown-red color..gross looking in my opinion, but my daughter “likes it.” I definitely wouldn’t feel comfortable scrubbing this item to clean it. I gently washed it after opening after noticing light flakes of material in the cup areas. I do like that it’s big which I’m sure our Crestie will enjoy as an extra lounging area. I think $15 with free shipping would be more reasonable for what your getting. They give you (4) 2 oz bowls, definitely should give you at least some more bowls for that price. Placed the order on the 13th, seller created a label within a few days but sat on actually shipping it forever, just got it on the 23rd. So I definitely wouldn’t recommend them if you’re looking for quick shipping. The area where the magnets sit are sloppy painted with some kind of gunk (the actual “rock” itself and the backs of magnet), but thankfully we have this on the backside of our enclosure so I don’t have to see the mess. I’m a bit OCD so things like that drive me nuts.

The media could not be loaded.  As an owner of a chameleon I am well aware of difficulty of finding proper ledges and decor that can be higher up a cage wall, and further I know how difficult it is to find a food/water holder that can be placed higher up in a cage (without support from underneath, and even FURTHER I know how INSANELY difficult it is to find either of those things in a product that can work on a ReptiBreeze Terrarium (Full screen, no glass, a requirement for chameleons as they develop respiratory problems easily). You see, a full screen terrarium can not utilize suction cups like a glass one can, so once I heard of magnaturals I was already excited, and when I found this product I was damn near giddy. Works wonders for my Veiled Chameleon, it is INCREDIBLY sturdy and easy to change water at any time. It is also easy to remove (if need be) which I didn't expect at all but was pleasantly surprised to find out. Sorry for the long review, great product (I never review but felt strongly), If you have a small to medium aboreal lizard I highly recommend this product. Thank you MagNaturals!

At first my thoughts were that the food dishes are a little deep for small geckos like my cresteds or the pictured day gecko - water is cheap but filling the cup high enough with crested gecko diet is wasteful (1/4 of a teaspoon is usually far more than enough for each gecko every feeding). I believe the crested gecko could smell the food in the bottom of the cup, but did not want to dip his head so low that he could no longer see anything around him. You may be able to get cups that are smaller yet capable of fitting properly in this ledge.I have returned to using the half-size bottle caps that you can get from many 12oz, bottled water products, but the magnetic ledge still gets five stars because (a) it is honest about the size of the cups, (b) it works perfectly fine as a plain mushroom ledge if you turn it upside down, (c) it cleans easily, and (d) it secures very well to the sides of a cage with the magnets, even sticking well enough to hold itself after you have removed the magnets. I often have some bit of plastic foliage that I catch between the glass and the ledge to provide more hiding, climbing, and decoration. The geckos love it!

Setup was confusing. The packaging says not to remove the magnets, however they had to be removed to go on the other side of the glass. Didn’t realize it was styrofoam so that was disappointing. Functions perfectly otherwise.
