We have a single cup coffee maker because my husband is the only coffee drinker in our home. But now that we're closer to family, we need to make more than one cup at a time for our guests.From the first use, everyone remarked how great the coffee tasted. It holds two large or three smaller cups, and the coffee stays hot for quite some time. I bought a second one for myself and use it for tea. The tea tastes cleaner if that makes sense, and stays hot so I can refill my cup while sitting through a morning full of zoom calls.For cleaning out the pieces, since everything is pressed it's simple to clean. After the grounds are dumped, we swish the pieces in soapy water and use the sprayer to rinse. We've not used the dishwasher yet as we use the press more often than we use the diswasher. But handwashing has maintained the stainless (him) and matte black (me) finishes so they continue to look great.

Better than glass... simple to use, well-constructed, sturdy, unbreakable, insulated to help maintain temperature while brewing, easy to clean, looks nice. No complaints... using a medium grind and makes excellent coffee! Highly recommended coffee press, and the price can't be beat.My method is to first fill the carafe with hot water to get it hot. Then I measure the correct amount of water into a kettle and bring it to a boil. While the water is coming to a boil, I grind the beans. (medium grind works well in this press) After the water boils, I set it aside for 30 seconds and pour out the water that is warming the carafe and measure and add the correct amount of coffee. Next I add the hot water from the kettle to the ground coffee and stir for 1 minute with a wooden spoon, then install the filter and cover at the top of the press and let the coffee brew for 4 - 5 minutes. Finally, when time is up, press the plunger down slowly all the way to the bottom, and the coffee is ready.

Been using for 2 months. Very satisfied!Makes excellent coffee. Solidly built. Durable heavy gauge stainless steel. Simple, functional design. Insulated. Easy to clean. Low cost.
