Night and day difference…
Night and day difference in espresso extraction, espresso crème, puck compaction, and most noticeable espresso taste. Let start by saying I made a few accessory purchases. The two that most likely made the difference in the flavor was these Screens and the grounds stirrer. After all my research I can agree that I was experiencing channeling and didn’t have the correct water distribution. Before playing with my new toys, I did remove the machine’s screen…very dirty! With this that shouldn’t be an issue any longer. I fully recommend this screen and go ahead and shop around for a stirrer. I’m personally testing two different styles. Straight & wavy needle. So far so good on the wavy. Still waiting on the straight to arrive.CR.

They work but ...
It's a puck screen. I used this one in a Normcore bottomless portafilter on a Breville Bambino. I thought it worked well, it was my only time using a puck screen, and I saw some of the benefits that I'd heard. Then my Normcore brand puck screen arrived and this thing is actually way better. It's a little bigger than the one listed here and fit my portafilter near perfect. The puck screen and the portafilter are the same brand so maybe that's why, but still. This isn't a bad puck screen. Very similar construction to the Normcore, just a hair smaller.

Item arrived used and dirty. Clearly see the witness mark of the group head screen circle hitting filter. Although they can be cleaned New products should not be sent out like this. Do better

A useful addition to your espresso routine
I have found these screens to be excellent for daily use. The only frustration I have is that it makes for pulling a hot metal screen out of my knock box after each use.

it seems to help a lot the expresso extraction
it was a good addition to my espresso accessories and I've seen an improvement on the consistency of my coffee flow.
