Reasonably priced solution if your compressor does not want to start up. Worth a try before calling a technician. Worked for me and saved having to buy a new fridge for the garage. Make sure you you match up the amp draw of your compressor to the unit as there are 3 variations available. There are several videos on Utube to walk you through installation. Fast shipping.

Fixed my Kenmore Deep Freezer. Know this- you need to wire the freezer thermostat in series so the freezer shuts the 3 in 1 off or it’ll run forever. I did this by looking at the wiring diagram. It showed the brown wire was thermostat. I connected on of the black power circuits to that and it works good as new and turns on when thermostat calls for cooling and off when cooled sufficiently. So far so good! Cheap fix. But need to know a little about electrical work.

This little device was on the fridge we inherited. When the fridge stopped working, we were told it was the compressor and would need to get a new fridge. But I KNEW it couldn't be the compressor. After process of elimination, the 3-n-1 had blown something and you can hear the relay trying to engage but wasn't. After replacing it with ease, the fridge immediately started working. It's even quieter than before and working better. This fix not only saved us thousands of dollars but also improved the overall operation of the fridge

Have an older Danby Designer freezer that stopped working. Did some research online and ordered this product. It's 3in1 because it replaces the capacitor, the start relay and the overload protector. Relatively easy to install, (helps if you can read a circuit diagram) as you will be replacing 3 discreet components with 1, plugging the 3 wires with connectors onto the compressor and connecting the other 2 wires via Marettes (twist on wire connectors) to the AC feed wires that previously were connected to the relay and overload protector. Biggest issue was the labelling of the pins on the Danby compressor. The compressor started right up and it's been 24 hours and everything seems fine...
