Well-constructed, excellent performance
I purchased these spade connectors to replace some AdioQuest silver banana plugs which were constantly backing out from my speakers. I meant to purchase Viborg's all copper spade connectors but accidentally clicked on the rhodium plated ones. Rhodium, like gold, is resistant to oxidation but an even poorer conductor than gold (silver is best followed by copper). This turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I marked off the contact area(s) of the spade connector and filed off the rhodium plating, exposing the reddish copper. The plating is extremely thin and easily removed. The benefit of this is the exposed areas of the spade connector remain plated. Best of all there was no loss of sound quality. These connectors are well constructed. If anything, they are thicker than they need to be. They won't bend, are definitely pure copper, and your speaker wire will never come loose. You can find more expensive ones. While they may look nicer, I doubt you will notice any difference in performance. If you want to save a few bucks get the non-plated all copper ones. Unless you're using your speakers outdoors, oxidation shouldn't be an issue.

Excellent quality and performance.
Used these spades because another set that I bought, to adapt bananas, for some unknown reason didn't work at all. I had an extra pair of these and they installed and performed just fine. I ordered two more sets to do ALL my connections.

High Quality Terminations
High quality copper terminations at an excellent price, best suited for larger connectors.

Measure your speaker binding post to ensure fitment
My post is 8.35mm these barely fit if I force it. As per stated, the inner spade measurement is 8.3mm. It measures 8.28mm with my caliper. The inner spade surface is "concave" and not uniform instead of flat. I chose to minimally grind away the inside for better fitment.Despite the other reviews stating it's made of brass instead of copper, I believe they are mistaken. The metal is reddish, more like copper than brass (yellow). See pictures.Though I do question the purity of the copper used. It seems a bit rigid for pure copper. Will install them and update if I have issues or they negatively affects my system's sonic character. As it stands, it's a great value and good construction.

Beefy lugs that can accommodate large speaker wire gauge
These lugs are quite large, which is great because they accommodate large speaker-wire gauge (I used 12 gauge). The length of the lug was so large, I had to grind it down to fit my speaker terminals, but that's not a fault in these lugs. The included double-termination screws make the wire connection more secure than a single screw, although I usually prefer to just solder the wires into the terminal. I didn't solder them in this case as my application wasn't that critical. The only minor gripe I have is that, with large-gauge wire like I used, the termination screws protrude above the surface even when fully tightened, so there are some bumps in the otherwise neat-looking heat-shrinked ends.
