The unit is easy to fit. I have a VW golf and it sat nicely in the middle vent towards the passenger side. I chose that side otherwise I'd be unable to see the hazzard light button easily.Wire is long enough to do what I needed.Charges perfectly fine even with maps on for a few hours.My only issue is the magnetic feature. I have an iPhone 13 with a magsafe compatible case. It says you can use a case so long as it's magsafe. It does work but if you hit a few bumps in the road it falls off. So I had to use the supplied ring which is great but you only get one. So if you car share the only one phone can have the ring on. If it's out of it's case it's fine jus that it's not as fully compatible as it makes out.Apart from that it's just what I was after so a good buy all in all.

If you can't be bothered to read full review, just get this dock it's great.Honestly I've tried so many car docks it's not even funny. Some good some bad but all had comprises. The grabby arm ones work fine for a while but the gears inside always fail. Most magnetic docks don't charge. The ones that did grip the phone well usually pull off the car vent instead. Don't even mention the sucky ones.So I saw some of the iPhone magsafe stuff and got jealous because I'm on Android master race. I've previously had the ancient Google Nexus phone with the megnetic charger dock and I loved it, I couldn't believe more phones didn't use that feature. So I searched to see if I could hack my Samsung to use a magsafe dock, there's a few magnetic stickers but I settled on the Sinjimoru Magnetic Sticker. It's simple to rotate the phone from portrait to landscape and still easy to remove. One main reason why I chose this dock is the way it attaches to the vent, the hook has a proper hook not just a lip, the dock stays firmly attached to the vent even when yanking the well attached phone off the dock. It's got rubber pads to protect the dash. The hook is nice and long. The depth of the dock was perfect in my car to put it exactly where I want it, doesn't stick out too far so it's in the way constantly getting knocked and not too shallow so I'm knocking the cars dials and knobs accidentally. Fitting was very quick and easy.The dock swivels and tilts a decent amount, wish it was a little more though as my dash slopes a little and even fully tilted down I get a little bit of glare/reflection from windscreen. Depends on your car and placement if it's going to be an issue for you.The charging function works, I haven't taken enough notice to comment on the charge speed but I've left my car with 100% battery regularly. Love that it's usb type c, shame on any company selling with anything else.It looks pretty good too. It's fairly discrete.So yeah, I highly recommend this dock if you get a good magnetic sticker on the back of your phone or case, I can't comment on how good it works with iPhone but I'm guessing it'll be great. I'm hoping companies start selling more cases with the metal ring in.

Best of the lot so far having wasted a lot of money on MagSafe holders just not living up to the hype this is the one guys

I am using an Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, the large one. I have the Apple Transparent Magsafe case on it. It fits securely into the block central air vent on the Mercedes ML and holds tight to the vent. The phone has not comes off the mount after 8 weeks of driving around. You just slap the phone onto the magsafe and it charges and holds. Better than previous mounts I have used.

I like this product. It’s easy to install and holds my phone very well. I have no shaking or rattling from the phone when attached and travelling at speed and the magnets are strong. A big plus is it doesn’t damage your vents! (Unlike others I’ve tried). The three axis design is well thought out and is perfect for my needs. I don’t use this to charge my phone wirelessly, however in the odd occasion I have it performed as expected.My only negative is the price. It could just do with being a fraction cheaper.
