Perfect adapter, works well and hasn’t let me down so far.

If you have several types of battery and want to use them to back up dedicated batteries this is the converter for you. I converted an xr2 dewalt battery for my Ryobi tools and it works a treat. I need another one to convert another type of tool make and will buy one of these again without hesitation. Worth it!

Using to convert an 18 volt bee vaporizer that came with DeWalt battery holder. I have multiple Makita batteries this adapter works well.

Brought so I can use existing dewalt batteries with the Ryobi 18g nail gun. Not used it for any length of time, so how well it lasts I can't comment. The adapter works but my only slight issue is I don't like how the battery fits in the adapter. Might just be a case of getting used to it.

Does what it is supposed to do

I have had fabulous results with Ryobi tools, well made and excellent quality, the only negative is the Li-Ion battery system and specifically removing them from a tool requires large hands as the release clips are on the sides of the battery packs which is a maximum finger span for me and a total impossibility for my partner. Recently added a Ryobi strimmer to the collection, again a fabulous bit of kit but this time around, maybe because it is new, but getting a spent battery off it is a major struggle. I have some Dewalt power tools and several batteries so the idea of a battery adaptor to use the Dewalt battery packs seemed ideal. The DM18RL adapter snaps on positively, a Dewalt battery also - it just works - perfectly.

Great item. Especially useful if you already own Makita tools and need to use another brand like Einhell.Works great and looks well made.

Useless! Wouldn't fit any of my Dewalt battereis. Had to return it.
