I have been in the "business" for years. I picked up this book because I had a little creativity block. I think this book is more designed for someone starting out than someone established in the business. That being said I made it three quarters of the way through the book and was so excited about an idea I got early on that I stayed up all night drawing out a plan.I may be biased because I come from the same world as the author - however, I think this is a great read for everyone from junior to President. We sometimes forget what made us successful in the first place. I also thing learning to write copy is a great skill to have for resume and cover letter writing as well as music, poetry or fiction if that's your hobby.I got something valuable from this book - you may too. With most of these "rah rah rah" books - if you can get one thing out of it you are lucky, This book has many of those little tid bits.

Great for Beginners
As someone fairly new to copywriting this was a great book to begin with. The case studies also really help.

A book like the tittle: Long but straight to the point.
I read many book on copywriting.This one is very good, because it gives clear and precise infos on copywriting. Littles tips that help you right away.At the end of each chapter, there is some fun and easy exercice.

This book has given me very helpful insights and tips on what I need to be doing as far as creating a portfolio. As a new copywriter, it does very well at breaking down the different categories copywriting is used in. I am very grateful for this book.

Copywriting book
This book really delves deeply in to why knowing your audience/market so important. It's an easy read with selection of amazing case studies that provide clear informative advice on specific brands or organizations. I've been using this book with two new clients and so far the advice has paid off ten -fold and more.

Einfach. Übersichtlich. Schön gestaltet.
Professionelle Copywriter werden aus diesem Buch vermutlich nicht viel mitnehmen. Die Informationen darin sind nicht neu, aber wunderschön grafisch aufbereitet.Durch Beispiele werden Werbetexte und ihre Anwendung genau erläutert. Dieses Buch ist daher besonders gut für jene Leser geeignet, die noch nie etwas von "Copywriting" gehört haben und abseits von trockenen Büchern - die durchaus gute Informationen enthalten - einen guten Überblick über das Thema haben wollen.

Mi aspettavo di meglio
Carino, ben scritto (ci mancherebbe), non male anche il progetto grafico e l'impaginazione. Tuttavia i contenuti sono un po' troppo basici. Quindi, lo consiglio solo a chi è alle prime armi e a chi vuole avere un bel volumetto nella propria libreria.
