Neice loved it
The connector balls are really stiff at first. You may need an adults help. Once loosened up and the first wall was built, 3 kids were kept busy for 3 hours. Needs some adult supervision, as one person got poked in the eye by a stick when someone else was finagling it

We may need another set to make a big enough fort
We had one of these with plastic rods and that ended with broken pieces, a broken fort and broken dreams. Hopefully these wood rods hold up better. So far so good. I feel like there are never enough pieces in these kits but I guess you can solve that by buying multiples so your blanket castle can flourish. I appreciate the box it comes in is heavy duty enough for storage. These pieces can get heavy so flimsy cardboard simply won’t do. They do have to be put in just so to all fit inside but that keeps the storage space minimal I suppose.

Adult and patience needed
I purchased this gift for my six year old grandson, who is unable to build the fort by himself. I spent most of Christmas day downstairs building the fort with him. With a hammer and still had trouble trying to keep this fort together. The sticks are too big for the holes in the balls so we had to use a hammer to get it in so that it would stand for a little while, but still ended up falling apart to this day the kids still have to use the hammer to put it together and they say it falls apart every night . I really am not very impressed. I thought it would be the greatest gift ever but if the kids are unable to build a fort by themselves and have it stand then what really is the point

Junk at its finest
It's a great idea, but flawed product. Very few of the wood dowels fit into the holes on the green balls perfectly. Some have to be forced into the holes. Most of them are too small for the holes and constantly slip out while you're building. The final product collapses easily and ends up being a waste of time. You're better off using a couple of kitchen chairs and sheets.

poorly manufactured
I love the concept of this toy however the sticks don't stay in the holes well and overall are very flimsy and break easily. My daughter is often frustrated by this toy and I recommend purchasing a different brand that may be higher quality.
