Horrible noise
I knew this toy would be loud, but it is truly unbearable cacophony. The stepping stones stones seem quite sturdy and durable, and would be fine just as a jumping toy. My kids like them, and the bells alone would be okay. However, the bell is actually somewhat hard to ring; you have to step in them lightly in just the right place. If your kids jump between the stones, as is natural, the bell doesn’t ring. There is just an unpleasant twang. Even if they do manage to hit the bell properly, the body of the stones resonates at an unpleasant frequency. The video doesn’t quite capture it; it’s very low.I would only recommend these if your kids can play with them at someone else’s house. Preferably someone hard of hearing.

Good idea, hope the sounds were more pleasant
I got these musical stepping stones together with the stepping stones of different textures from the same company. This is quite a novel, interesting, and fun approach to provide sensory stimulation. I just hope that the sounds were more pleasant, unique, and easy to tell one from the other. Overall, still a good tool.
