Weaver LeatherMiracle Collar in Display Box

My mare has been in this collar for many years being an avid cribber. It was time to replace her current Miracle Collar with a new one. Works great! Good quality leather.

The shock did deter my horse for a while but he actually became used to it and returned to cribbing.

Sadly not a miracle cure. In order for my horse to stop wind sucking on his stable door, I had to have this collar so tight that it was almost inhumane. Leaving him in it over night etc would leave deep impressions on his throat and forehead! I tried it looser like the instructions but he could still windsuck. The only way it became comfortable was if he had his head held low (eating off floor) so even eating out of a haynet was uncomfortable. My horse also hated the noisy buckles so much that as I approached him he would try to run away! He is normally very sensible! So my view is don't waste your money & it's not cheap! I couldn't send it back as the straps are so long that I trimmed them to stop them flapping round his head. I'm trying a piece of drainpipe over the top of his door so he can't take hold of it to windsuck.

Works well when fitted properly. A little hard to fit but worth working on.I don't put it on the horse when turned out in the pasture.

Stopped my horse from cribbing, started putting weight back on, works great.
