I was surprised at the small size of these blasters, and the retail packaging was poorly designed. I was also surprised that one was impossible to shoot, and the other was defective and took several tries to blast one ball (meaning six or seven pumps before a ball would pop out).We bought this set to give to our nephews for Christmas, and they were so bummed that they didn’t really work at all. We packaged them back up and returned them, and instead bought two $10 nerf guns for them.These seemed slightly above dollar store quality, and I would definitely recommend a different toy blaster option.

I am a little concerned about it’s durability. When I pull back fully it has a little hitch when you move it forward. We’ll see how it holds up. Other than that I’m pleased.

Basically my five-year-old could not pull the handle hard enough to make the balls pop out. I didn't have a problem, but I'm an adult. A friend of ours had a different brand that she played with that was easier to use. I don't know their brand, but this one didn't work for us.

Great for toddlers

My kids (6 and 9 years old) ditched their Nerf guns for these and said they loved them so much more! Loads 12 shots per gun way easier than loading nerf dart magazines, and unlike Nerf, ZERO jams! They make a very satisfying and fun POP sound when you shoot. They shoot hard enough but not so hard that it hurts like Nerf darts can, plus, you can get two blasters for the price of one Nerf gun. Definitely recommended, as a gift, cheap enough to get one for every kid at a small birthday party!
