Perfect poop bags! Sturdy, perfect size and not harmful to environment.
The best poop bag I have used. So happy to have found them! Very sturdy, don't have a scent. Size is great - long enough to keep hand up to wrist covered and really good durability - especially impressive for being earth friendly! I feel very confident that my fingers will not accidentally go through the bag. Isn't that a nice thing to not worry about? Yes! I also like that the bag is long enough that there is room for a big ol' load and still room to tie it up and carry it by the neck of the bag, not in my hand. The bags are also not so thin that it can't contain the smell. Another bonus while in transport to dispose of it. The bag itself is not scented, which I really like. After reading more about what bags are actually biodegrade vs the companies that say that their bags are biodegradable, (the Federal Trade Commission has issued warnings about these companies being deceptive in their claims) but nope, they are not - not every green poop bag is the same. It costs more to purchase bags that will actually break down - but I hope you will consider it, when you think about how many poop bags you are filling up in a week...a month.. a year.Just a perfect poop bag. So happy I found these and bonus, I am pretty sure they are made by a small company in the USA.

Biodegradable & Good quality
After learning that many poop bags marketed as biodegradable are just breaking down into tiny plastic particulates and that you had to find ones derived of corn, I found these. Given how many plastic bags I have to toss as a suburban dog owner without a real yard, I am okay paying the price for a more environmentally friendly option. I've been using this brand with the rose scent variety for 6 years with no problems.I will note that if they get wet, they get a little sticky, but I would assume that's evidence of their biodegradable nature. It's also my fault for just tying them to my leash handle instead of using the cylinder plastic dispensers that most everyone else uses and it only happens when I go for extended walks in the rain. (Again, I know that I am doing this to myself, but just pointing it out for awareness.)

Best for the environment and pleasant and gentle to use
I did some research before buying these dog poop bags, once I discovered the "biodegradable" ones I was buying don't decompose in the way I had thought. This was the only brand I could find that was different. They are more expensive, but worth it to me, since I have two dogs, one retired and one who functions as my service dog, and we walk twice a day, and thus use a fair amount of bags. They are much easier to open than plastic ones and don't irritate my hands holding onto them like the plastic ones. And they are more decomposable. All in all, I'm happy with these, although once in a while it is difficult to peel the sticker off a new roll, and a hole in the bag is created. Otherwise, they are easy to tear, easy to use, soft, big enough, and better for the environment. I've been using them for several months now, and am very happy with this product.

Faulty Bags
I've been using these bags for years, however had to throw the last order away. All bags were useless. Bags rip when trying to open them, tear off a bag or do anything with them. I'm going to order a new box and give them one last chance, but for now they get a 1 star. Very disappointed.

Sturdy baga, but hard to separate and a bit stinky
This is the second time I've used My AlphaPet dog poop bags. In general, I'm very happy with them and would buy them again, but there are some things that buyers ought to know.1) These bags are bulky. I have a standard plastic dispenser. The bags barely fit. On a couple of occasions, I've had to remove a couple of bags on the roll before the bags fit into the dispenser.2) They are hard to separate. The good thing is that the bags are so sturdy that when you do tear through the bottom of the bag, right where it's sealed, the bags are so sturdy that you can easily and safely use the bag because the bottom seal is still intact.s) They are stinky. Okay, they're poop bags. They are going to be stinky, but these seem a bit less able to control odors. Still, that may be because they're made with cornstarch rather than plastic. Overall, the stinkiness doesn't bother me, but I think that consumers need to know. I think this is a small problem, and greatly offset by the fact that these are truly friendly for the environment. These are good bags. I have had bags that easily tear and that have leaked--not fun! These bags are extremely sturdy. I have two dogs, and I feed them well so that their stools are not huge. I can easily fit both dogs' poop into one bag.Definitely recommended.

Truly biodegradable plant-based poop bags
These bags are my favorite. They are a bit pricey, but it is worth it to know I am not adding more plastic into the landfills. There is a lot of discussion about biodegradable vs compostable and whether or not dog poop (or other animal poop) should be composted. The answer is no, animal waste should not be put in a home compost pile, regardless of what type of bag it is in. Poop can go into some industrial composts or anaerobic digesters, but not a back yard compost. These bags will break down quickly in the proper environment, which makes them biodegradable (and not in the sense that everything eventually breaks down). These bags are all about reducing your plastic usage and input into the landfills, which is where poop goes. These bags will break down quickly in a landfill and allow the poop to contribute to further decomposition of other trash. They are even packaged in cardboard rather than plastic, which is much appreciated (although Amazon ships with plastic padding). There are specialized products out there now that allow you to compost animal waste in your backyard, and I do not know if these can be put into those composters. In any case, I appreciate the plant-based bags. They are a good size (I have a large dog), nice and thick, very soft, easy to rip, and fit nicely into standard bag dispensers. Spent the extra money and help take care of our Earth!

Compostable, not just degradable
Good size, strong bags, no residue like some. Have been using the unscented ones for over a year now and no problems.Started to use them when I read up about biodegradable bags. Most are just degradable which means they need light air and moisture to degrade and will still take years (so won’t when buried in landfill!). Lots also release micro plastics. These are made from cornstarch so are totally plastic free, and come in cardboard packaging (apart from the Amazon bit!) And best of all, they don’t split or leak!!
