This bowl is nice but only 32oz. not 52oz they lie.

When the description mentioned these were melamine I was a little concerned they might have a plastic feel... not at all! If I didn't already know these were melamine, I would have been completely fooled into thinking they were ceramic. They are very robust, solidly built dipping "bowls". And to my pleasant surprise they are much heavier than I thought. Definitely a good buy! I can certainly imagine finding these in a restaurant because they obviously will be able to take a beating without breaking. I will be using them for dipping sushi in soy sauce and as such they are a great product!

I really like them, nice looking, size I expected for a soup spoon, cleans easy. Not sure how sturdy they are because like others that complained about at least one showing up broken, well guess what one was broken. Now that could be because it comes bundled together and mailed in a manila envelope and got broken due to the delivery people not being careful. I think since so many have had the same issue maybe they should put them in a box and that might take care of the problem (not worth it to return them I will live with 5 instead of 6 since it is just for my use and not my entire family). After using them for awhile in day to day use I will add on to this post if they are holding up or beak really easy.

I should have read the description more carefully. These are plastic. I think overpriced. But next time I will pay attention. Giving them 3 stars because they look good and you might not realize it until picked them up. For plastic, I guess made well enough. Now looking for something similar in porcelain.

I need a cheap and big enough bowl for noodle and soup and this one might be the best choise. It is plastic, and very light, but easy to clean and cheaper than ceramic ones.
