It is good for use as a thesaurus. Better than the Roget's thesaurus by Barbara Ann Kipfer. I think the title 'Flip Dictionary' is a misnomer.

Very useful when thesaurus not enough.

This book was love at first flip for me. It's been within easy reach ever since. I use it constantly and wonder now how I ever got along without it.

I’m so happy I purchased this dictionary! For each word I look up ,several words of very similar or same meaning are listed. Very interesting & helpful!

great resource

I don't let this book stray far from my side. In fact, I bought two copies: one for work, one for home. I probably need a third for my car. It's terribly useful and, as you can tell, I find myself reaching for it quite often. It's great when a word is on the tip of your tongue, and you can flip through this dictionary to try to figure it out. Hasn't failed me yet.
