In Plain Sight: A Blake Jordan Thriller (The Blake Jordan Series Book 3)

Thrilling, Terrifying, Warp-Speed Paced Action - MUST READ
Blake Jordan has made a life-changing decision for the new year, to propose marriage to Jami, his former partner at the Dept of Domestic Counterterrorism. Meanwhile, AJ, a young man with brilliant forensic computer skills watches his best friend murdered, after a night to celebrate his new job at NSA. In a fast-paced 24 hours, the country suffers a massive internet outage on the East Coast, followed by two commuters trains losing control and ending in a violent crash. Blake and Jami, in their respective roles are summoned to DC to help find the perpetrator, the motive and hopefully, to stop the next terrorist attack. The read is a complete Adrenalin ride, from start to finish. I love everything this author writes.

worth reading if you like shows like 24
This is book 3 of an on-going series about Blake Jordan, a federal agent with the fictional Department of Domestic Counter-terrorism (DDC). This novel features characters introduced in and continues to develop a story-line developed in books 1 and 2. This was a good story and a good read.In much the same way that 24 isn't realistic, this novel isn't realistic. The situations in this book, however, are totally plausible - people from other countries trying to harm the US and it's citizens, government agencies in conflict and working at cross-purposes, political nonsense, and terrorist plots that we need someone to thwart. Some that which I find unrealistic is admittedly part of the appeal - the idea of a selfless, courageous, and powerful government agent like Blake Jordan makes the book fun to read. I like having someone to pull for, even though I didn't have any delusion that he wouldn't save the day in the end.I'm looking forward to book 4 to see what happens next.

Definitely a good read.
I have read the previous two books, The Senator and Credible Threat, and this is the best of the three. Loved the plot, the twists and turns, the development and interaction of the characters, and the presentation of the story. There were subtle references to the previous book, enough to tie them together, but not so much that you were left with of feeling of missing something important. After having read the previous books, I was waiting for tis one to come out, and was definitely not disappointed. If you enjoy knowing more about the author, additional background on the author's books, and what goes into the creative process, I'dsuggest that you visit Ken Fite's web site and signup for his newsletter. For me, these have been very interesting to read.

Hooyah!
An action packed, fast paced story to the end! I loved it. This is the first novel I have read by Mr. Fite, as I received it free from his website. I appreciate the opportunity ti find a new author that I enjoyed. The characters were very good, and much better developed than any usual FBI/NSA/CIA type novels I have read. I will be reading more!

Plodded my way through this one
I was glad to keep up with Blake Jordan utter writing this time seemed to be forced. It seemed choppy, which is a style of writing but not thee talented Ken Fites typical. Good plotting a, scene setting and character developing but I kept dragging out the book earner than impatiently racing to get to the next word.

Another great read
I couldn't put the book down. The story is well told, keeps you n the edge of your seat and the cliffhangers are hard to forget.

Not much of a reader (I have always enjoyed Audio books)
Not much of a reader (I have always enjoyed Audio books), I found this fast-paced and entertaining. I jumped into the series a little late and will go back to purchase the 1st and 2nd novels because I want to know more about the characters and previous plots which were alluded to in this novel. All characters were nicely developed and I started to care about them and each individual's challenges. The scene where Blake exploded with anger toward Nadia was very well described... I wanted to learn more about that history; seems that I will learn more with the previous novels. I got this novel for free but would gladly have purchased as it kept my attention.

In Plain Sight
This is an excellent book and written with a real and believable insight into American Intelligence Agencies. However, I am not into technology and got extremely lost in all the jargon, there was just too much of it and really fast paced! So much information to absorb. I was also a little disappointed with the ending, but kind of understood the reasoning behind Blake's decision. In the next book I would like a more softer read easier to get into the plot with more intrigue and less technology involvement with Blake much more out in the field chasing terrorism! Love the characters!

Relationships in suspense
This book, just as the first two, keeps the reader on edge. Although it is not necessary to read the first two books to learn about the key characters, their development continues in this book.I found it rather disturbing that the various government agencies just cannot get along. I think of the savings in emotional energy, in funds, in security if the different groups got along. I hope reality is better but I doubt. Was a good read. Keep the stories coming. Was disappointed in the poor grammatical construction at points. The writing needs a sharp editor to improve structure.

Exiting Thriller
This is the 3rd book in the Blake Jordan series and the best yet. It had an up to date plot which seemed really possible, fast moving action and a thoughtful outcome - and well worthy of 5 stars. I can't wait for the next one!
