I ordered this to install on my air conditioner compressor. It came right away I installed it in minutes and fixed my air conditioning unit myself for about twelve bucks. That was about 6 months ago.

Exactly as described and has never missed a chance to perform perfectly.

Easy to replace, just take picture of wires on old one before changing out. I was not getting 24 volts thru old compactor, tested this one before install and good to go.

It was exactly what I needed

This was a drop-in (let's say direct replacement) for our old unit. It went in without a hitch and worked all summer. The price was much lower than local parts. This is a simple repair, but if you are a do it yourself person read up on safe practices amd follow them. Not really a savings if you send yourself to the hospital or die.

Replaced the relay on my 4 ton AC unit. Works fine. The wiring terminals are not the plate clamp or screw type. The are threaded lugs that are tapered on the ends. That would be fine with large diameter wire however. the results in the uses #10 AWG wiring not fitting is not in full contact of the surface of conductor I like. I ended up heavily tinning the leads with silver solder to have better electrical surface contact. I have had this relay installed for a month. The weather is very hot and the AC unit cycles every fifteen minutes. No issues seen or detected at this time. The startup amps of the condenser compressor and fan are momentarily at 97 amps. Then the running the load is 22 amps. The relay handles this fine. I went with a 40 amp relay verses a 30 as I know there is a voltage drop with the unit's power supply wiring is 55 feet with #10 AWG. That means higher amp draw and wear and tear on the relay contacts.

Imagine my horror when returning from work late on a July evening and finding my home AC blowing nonstop hot air again (like my ex-wife). I've kept this thing limping along for years (my AC unit, not my ex-wife), Frankensteining the system to the near reaches of the Ship of Theseus paradox... but alas, a new symptom to Google. Troubleshooting suggested it may be the contactor. If it were a more expensive part, I would have thought twice before ordering a replacement without confirmation. But at this price? Buy it, ship it, no second thoughts. It was home the next morning before 8am.I had it installed in no time and was only moderately late for work. Easy drop-in replacement for a Siemens Catalog # 45EG10AJA690R / CONT1P030024V. Shut off the breaker, exchange the clips 1 by 1, screw in the mains, bolt to the unit, re-electrify the breaker. Done & done. Biggest pain was the mosquito bites on my ankles.Got home tonight thrilled to find the unit has been blowing cold and cycling perfectly all day. From surprise breakdown to complete fixed again in ~12 hours.
