Compassion when tempered with unconditional acceptance brings deep love.
Brenda had been alone and just barley living. Andi has had a lover who kept her from seeing the heart of things. One night, one more argument and everything changes. Brenda opens her home and heart to Andi who has been kicked out by her lover. Together they journey through the truth of who Andi is and the family she must face. The characters face so much so quickly and stay open to love each other deeply. This is a great love story that defies and celebrates life. It has a simple but beautiful love that grows.

Easy and enjoyable reading
This was an enjoyable read. Are characters were excellent described throughout the book. The love scenes were soft, and very sensual. Great read.

Happy ending
Happy endings is always good. Makes life less bitter. There is no way to read a book like this and not dream that life can be much better than this one we have.

Felt rushed
Base of story romance is not so far fetched but the intensity of the whole storyline could've used a bit more details.

So bad i couldn’t finish it
Unrealistic timeline, unrealistic portrayal of disease, unrealistic everything... I honestly scrolled to the end after about 3/4 of the book just so i could let other people know not to waste their time.

Cute
Yet another cute story, with a bit of a sad moment. I like how caring Brenda was when Andi was in need and how Brenda helped take care of Andi throughout the story. She stayed by her side even after hearing a dark moment in her past, not even blaming Andi for what had happened. She didn't let Andi's parents, or mom really, bait her and stood her ground when they met, defending Andi when it was needed. I'm sorry about Andi's sister, that has to suck. Situations of that sort are never easy, but Andi and Brenda handled it with ease and Andi and her family were able to grow close again afterwards. I'm happy for Andi in that aspect. Although we might not always agree, family is important.I read a complimentary Advanced Reader Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review

Inplausible unrealistic unbelievable but nice romsnce
A lovely but highly unlikely tory in reality but this is romance fiction. Would you really let a neighbour move in with you that you didn't really know? Would she secretly be a very rich girl, would you fall in love in a week? Would her parents suddenly change from homophobic to accepting? In reality no, but this a nice unbelievable fantasy romance.... And with the lockdown from the pandemic it's great to escape reality for awhile!

Great Book
I loved this book. It was both heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. I like how they met and how Brenda helped out Andi when she had no where to go. It was great how Brenda was there for Andi when her sister died and having her get back with her parents.
