KessilA160WE Tuna Sun LED Aquarium Light

I am running 3 of these lights on my 240g planted aquarium. I’ll admit I’m not a fan of Kessils separate controller. These lights are providing my tank with mid-high light the growth I’m getting is far better than a standard bar style LED. The best part is shimmer that these lights provide. My girlfriend who isn’t interested in aquariums literally said how those lights are amazing after seeing the shimmer in person.

I purchased this Kessil A160WE Tuna Sun LED Aquarium Light on Amazon Prime for use on my new 32-gallon fresh water planted aquarium. Lighting is critical for a successful aquarium and Kessil has THE best reputation in the business. I use this light with the Kessil controller for automated use. I bought the infinitely-adjustable Kessil 90-degree mounting arm. Both the controller and mounting arm are also available on Amazon Prime. The shimmer you see in my attached video is a trademark feature on Kessil lights. This is EXCELLENT equipment. Beautifully designed and built in Taiwan. Expensive yes, but it WORKS! My aquarium plants are growing like weeds.

I bought three lights for my 150gallon tank about five years ago. They worked pretty well. One light burned out after three years. I bought a new one in 2020, and it is significantly cooler than the old model. Love the shimmering effect. Definitely brought the colors out of the fish

I have a pair of these mounted on a deep 80 gallon show tank, and they provide enough light that I have vigorously growing plants. VERY happy with the quality of light they produce and their longevity!

These lights are very pricey for what they offer. I wanted a hanging light for a fresh water 125. Couldn't get good lighting with out two of these or one of there more expensive lights. The options this light offers are very basic as well.
