Fantasy baseball
A fun fast read. The characters on both teams, animals and robots, are drawn with verve. The pacing is great. Held my attention for the extra innings. John Steven Gurney clearly loves the game of baseball and he knows how to draw. This is third in his Fuzzy Baseball Series, but the one can start here. I expect the ideal audience for this graphic novel will be middle graders who have played a bit of little league baseball.

The Fuzzies take on the Clankers in this game of wits and baseball
‘Fuzzy Baseball 3: R.B.I. Robots' with story and art by John Steven Gurney is a graphic novel about a team of scrappy animals who play baseball. This time around the Fernwood Valley Fuzzies face off against the Geartown Clankees, but all is not as it first appears. It turns out the Fuzzies are playing against a team of robots. The robots agree to play fair, but that doesn't stop the Fuzzies from trying a few tricks to help win the game. This is a great series and I love the creativity of the opponents and the player names. Young sports fans should enjoy this series.

Fun Read!
This is the third book in the series. It is not necessary to read the first two to enjoy this one. The target audience for this graphic novel, in my opinion, is someone who has an interest in baseball. This is a quick, fun read with beautiful graphics and a good story line. The story is interesting as well as thought provoking. Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book.
