Great Little Gifts to Knit: 30 Quick and Colorful Patterns

I just paged through this book for the first time, and have already spotted a number of projects that I would like to make. It will be handy to have on hand, when I am stuck in that "what in the world can I make for......" The patterns are clear and easy to follow, which is always a help. There are enough new to me techniques to keep it interesting. I am sure that I will go back to it many times when I need a new project.

This has become one of my favorite go-to books for knitted gifts. Starting with the Hugs socks, for which I substituted Knit Picks City Tweed in Aran weight, I've enjoyed making a number of projects and found them all pretty speedy and very attractive when finished. Really like the author's personal, friendly style throughout. Great book, hope she puts out another on this same theme!

This book offers a nice variety of items with a range of difficulty levels. The author also provides helpful, practical knitting tips, such as how to create a selvage on a scarf.

not exactly as I had hoped but a few things I will knit

Wonderful little book for many "quick" knitting projects that will please so many. All of them are easy to make. Each is fashionable so that youth through grandma will enjoy what they receive.

I haven't made any items out of this book yet but I know I will in the near future. I love the projects and am looking forward to making a few of them.

Came very quickly.Lovely patterns.I would have liked if Jean had specified double knit, aran etc for the patterns as well as the name of the Rowan yarns she uses. I have so much yarn in my stash I want to use some of them up on these lovely knits.

If you love knitting or have a friend that loves knitting this book is full of patterns and ideas to fire your own imagination! Take note = even ones marked skill level "beginner" require a bit of thought!

J'adore l'univers coloré et joyeux de Jean Moss !Les ouvrages présentés sont ravissants pour offrir ou se faire plaisir.Les chapitres de présentation sont plutôt futés : pour bébé, pour elle, pour lui, pour la maison.Les explis sont en anglais mais il existe tant de grilles de traduction sur Internet que désormais chacun peut se débrouiller sans maîtriser la langue.Les laines utilisées sont des Rowan mais vous pouvez convertir facilement pour d'autres marques car le contenu de la pelote, le numéro d'aiguilles, l'échantillon-type, tout est bien détaillé.Je vous recommande vivement cette acquisition, vous y trouverez une foule de jolies idées de cadeaux pour Noël, pour être à fond dans la mode du "fait main", vous blufferez votre famille et vos amis en offrant des objets "c'est moi qui l'ai fait !".
