Great question! The Vulpes is able to record video and take photos with the included 32GB memory card. You can set the date/time in the settings menu, and add a tag to photos and videos. Details on how to apply this are in the Vulpes manual, but if you have any issues please contact Nightfox directly on our website and we will be more than happy to help.

Great question! Yes, the brightness of the display screen can be adjusted for your viewing comfort and for extending the battery life (when set to a lower brightness setting). I hope this helps!

Unfortunately, a lot of the videos and photography online of stargazing using infrared, are usually the result of using very expensive telescopes with military grade IR devices in addition. Most night vision that is commercially available will understandably not be able to provide those results, the Vulpes has a maximum range at fine of 220 yards. However night vision that is commercially available will understandably not be able to provide those results, our Nightfox Vulpes has the maximum range of 200 meters at night, though a great range it wouldn't be able to achieve the ranges you need for stargazing.
