Tracks in Time

Description

As a collective effort by new and well-known musicians, Tracks in Time is really a psychological group journey. Melodies set the mood and build in emotion, while guitar or synthesizer leads create the images. Notable cuts include new artist Paul Lackey's "The Darkening Sky," which is not ominous but does create a mood of anxiousness. Also, "Theme For a Captured Dream" by Lackey and fellow new artist Jon Jenkins is eerie, befitting a dreamscape. Deborah Martin, another new artist, is featured on the title track, a vocal piece in the tradition of Enya. Veteran Greg Klant performs memorably on "Turbostasis." ~ MusD
