Don't throw rocks in White Houses
If it makes me crazy that I want to live in Hilldale, then sign me up for group therapy, but make sure my group includes Donna, Jack, Arnie, Abu, Emma, Dominick (do NOT forget my Dominick), Ryan, Lee and Aunt Phyllis! The Housewife Assassin's White House Keeping Seal of Approval is yet another fun installment in the series. Although Josie Brown warned me that this book would be dark (and it was, and I know exactly the scenes to which she referred), I still finished this book with a smile. The plot itself was over the top, outlandish, insane, and guess what? It worked. It all worked. Donna picks up where the last book left off: reluctantly working for the President, a disgusting pig of a man, secretly working for ACME, desperately trying to exonerate Jack. She has to complete the President's "tasks", which escalate in evil, all while staying true to her sworn responsibility to protect the U.S.The way ACME incorporated the team into Donna's newest mission? Hysterical, especially Dominick. I re-read those pages several times. Too funny! The love Jack and Donna have for each other? Swoon-worthy. Envy-inducing. They are the best.Donna's kids, though? I'm sorry, Josie Brown, but they annoy the hell out of me, and I don't know how Donna saves the world, bakes pies, and STILL has the patience not to kill these idiots! This book was Tricia's turn to make poor choices, and almost Mary, argh! It's all part of the series, though. Donna is first and foremost a mother, so her parenting struggles merit attention in these books. And while I'm not a big fan of children, although I make an exception for Jeff in this series because he is the most together, I appreciate what they add to the story.I digress.Have I mentioned the pies? I love that Donna's signature orange cake makes an appearance. I love Donna. And cake.Abu continues on in his struggle to find a new line of work, this time being the most hilarious of all. He could teach me a thing or two about highlighter and bronzer, apparently.Do I smell a spinoff-type series in the works? But that's all I'm gonna say on THAT subject, because momma didn't raise no spoiler. If you haven't started this series, yet, you're in for a treat!

Number19 in this amazing series where bombs and romance combine to knock your socks off!!
I loved the White House book! It might be my imagine, but it sounds like the Craig family will soon be free from spy life! I am so emotionally attached to the characters- I want them to be so happy! Heaven knows they have earned it.Thank you for another book. Especially during this time of crisis, we all need a well written, exciting book to get lost in! ❤️ Read the previous 18, and step into a world of intrigue with a slice of cherry pie on the side! For those who have not read the previous 18 books, you now have plenty of time!!

Love, love, LOVE Donna!
Josie Brown has done it again! I think I first found her Housewife Assassin's books through Book Bub, and I've read them all. In this time of quarantine, a peek back into the life and adventures of Donna Craig (and her family) was just the escape I needed. Donna's strength inspires me; the little tongue-in-cheek humor at the start of every chapter makes me laugh; and the not-so-subtle fictionalized digs at certain political situations/characters is a treat. Can't wait for the next book!

19 tales and still going strong
Ms. Brown has managed to captivate her readers with 19 stories in this be series. I'm an avid reader and there are such a miniscule amount of writers in the world that can accomplish anything even remotely close. So a huge hand of applause to Ms. Brown for making it look so easy.

Holy Cow!
This is definitely a 5=star, but there were parts that were really hard for me to read. As always, a great story, the characters grow & get better with each story. I did expect the twist with Trisha & Janie., ...I don't that is a spoiler. Thanks for sharing Donna, Jack & the gang with us again.

Good One
I’ve enjoyed this entire series and this book continued to keep my interest in the characters. I didn’t care for the sexual brutality and hope the author finds other story lines in the future.

Another great read from a must read series
Another incredible thrilling (yet comical) adventure from The Craig’s. I adore this series and still 19 books in you get a fresh new adventure gripping you from the first page. The issues Jack and Donna save them world from are believable and enthralling, you’ll be on the edge of your seat flying through pages to see what happens next.

Another brilliant book from Josie Brown!
Thoroughly enjoyed this book, it might even be my favourite of the series! The thing I love about this series is that there's a bit of everything in the storyline. Keep them coming Josie!

Another fabulous Housewife Assassin's book!
Josie brings all the mystery, suspense and a whole lot that we're used to, featuring all the characters we know and love. If you're wondering if this book is as good as the others...it most definitely is.
