We went to a 5miles hiking last Saturday for the first time to use this crampons. Fresh snow on the trail and it was not that much icy. My two boys are in size 12 and 13, so we got this crampon teenager size according to the suggestion. Both crampons kept on falling down until the first metal piece broke down at the first 1 mile. Since we didn’t have any choice that we had to take off that one and kept on moving.It’s so frustrated that all two pairs of crampon, four pieces all broken down after around 3miles hiking. They all broke at the same place where the metal hook connecting with rubber. We adult used normal crampon got from Amazon and all worked well. You can imagine how my kids were sliding down from a trail that day and if you are aware of your safety, do NOT buy this products!! I assume this product has manufacturing defects and I hope I could give them a ZERO star!

Used with toddler shoe sizes 9 and 11. Probably best for sizes 12 and larger. Both kids fell out of the crampons a couple times. Ended up Macgyvering the spikes to the back of the shoe lop to keep from slipping offOtherwise worked well. Both kids felt secure in footing while trekking through ice and snow.Fast shipping. Initially set to be delivered after our planned trip but arrives early. Bought the smallest size.

These are great for our 5 year old. Good quality, easy to get on and iff. Our adventures on the trail wouldn’t be possible the spring without spikes!
