Not strong enough for the job I had in mind
I have a spring-loaded stairgate was was using neodymium magnets to hold it open but they stopped working for some reason. I though these strips would offer more power over a wider area, but they didn't work. I would not use them to hold heavy tools as illustrated - one casual knock and they'd fall off. Pity. it's a neat product.

Sticky, magnetic and flexible. Good for home and for garage
Came promptly and well packaged, Ive used one for hanging knives and it had no problem holding the weight of large kitchen knives. Another I used for holding tools on my toolbox, it was able to hold large tools and Allen keys no problems. It's very flexible too so could be bent around shapes or cut into smaller sizes if required. A+ product!

I have used this for hanging beaded jewellery with magnetic clasps inside a wardrobe door. This really works and keeps everything so organised
