Does the job
I thought it was a great substitute for the more expensive gessobords but it's not the same. Took away a star since I saw some particles come up when the brush was used with more pressure.

Sturdy, reliable Gesso boards!
Gesso boards have become my favorite painting canvas. These Phoenix brand boards are great for a very reasonable price. They are my go-to choice when I don't feel like driving an hour to the nearest city to purchase higher quality ones.

Not professional quality
The product came damaged on the edges. The top layer is a cheaper quality board than expected. May be okay for student work but would not recommend for professional artwork.
