Once adjusted right it works well, no instructions on how to use it or set the valve up which was not helpful. It is apparent that the ball and spring will work on either end of the valve, the larger tube (3/16" dia fits the bleed nipple so for it to work in the right direction I had to reverse the ball bearing in the unit and I blew thru it to set the right pressure. It's a little hit-and-miss but once set it works well, for the price and if you are happy to spend 5 minutes on setting it up it is a good little auto bleed system. If you are not on a budget then spend a little more and get something a little more sophisticated and robust. All in all it works!

Great value for little money

Works great IF as another reviewer suggested, you swap the ball and spring around in the valve (10 second job). The small tube on the inlet is too small to fit onto the bleed nipple but the bigger tube on the outlet is fine which is why you need to reverse the valve.

One man bleeding kit, very handy if your on your own in the garage

As others have said, this item is marked correctly, for the direction of flow, but then the small pipe and large pipe, needed for the bleed nipple, is at the wrong end. Dismantling it, and mounting the check valve the other way around solves the issue, but then the arrow marks the wrong direction of flow, so when I need it again in a year, I will have forgotten. To solve this potential future issue, I marked it with a pen, and sealed it with clear tape, so it won't rub off. Reassembled, with the check valve the other way around, this unit worked perfectly for me to bleed the brakes on my quad bike on my own. No way we should have to make this modification, or any others suggested here, such as cutting off a piece of the large pipe, and pushing it onto the end of the small pipe. Then again, it was cheap, and it did work well, after modification, saving me recruiting a friend to assist.

Easy to use especially on motorcycles and if you have to bleed a brake system on your own - that said you still need an eye on the reservoir level. Grand piece of kit, excellent value

The one way valve works perfectly however the pipes accompanying it where too small to fit over the bleed nipples.

After reviews I was unsure. Yes the pipe does not fit on the nipple. All you need to do is cut a bit off the larger pipe and it fits very tight over small pipe and perfect fit for the nipple. Then get empty water bottle make a hole in top. You will look like a professional
