I had quite a severe cyano outbreak, tried to let it ride out as it’s a relatively new tank but when it started to cover corals I decided to reach for a product! Have used the better know US product in the past but as the cost of that is now extortionate due to Brexit I decided to give this a go!! I’m impressed, took a while because the outbreak was extreme but after about 3 weeks of treatment it has almost completely disappeared, just a few spots left so will probably continue for another week but overall very happy:)

Worked for me I turned off skimmer and uv for 14 days I didn't even siphon most of iti just left it on the sand bed, all gone now it's turned in to diatoms, so need to get rid of the brown now

Didn’t do anything in my tank, that’s not to say it won’t work in yours to be fair some products are like that but not for me

Going to start by saying I don’t normally write reviews but I had been struggling with cyano, trying everything and this actually worked for me. I’ve been struggling with cyano on and off but it’s only been getting worse. THERE IS NO QUICK FIX! I’d hoped it was something I could fix in a matter of days but all the products I tried just did nothing. I use the iquatics salt and have some of their rock too in another tank so thought I’d try their cyano product as I feel all their stuff is good value for money. It says to use daily for up to 14 days so each day I added the max amount of grams it said and after a week I actually started to see an improvement. Less that the 14 days it says and it’s pretty much gone. I plan on still using to 14 days and even beyond at a lower dosage as instructed to help keep the cyano away! Really wish I had taken a before photo to show how much better it now is but I honestly didn’t think it world work. Pleasantly surprised, definitely worth using if you are suffering like I was and then it’s just patience!

It works but for the price you do not get much & well overpriced

I have had red Cyanobacteria in my 60litre reef tank for months now. I tried to deal with it by improving water quality, creating stability in parameters, and sucking it out with water changes. Nothing worked until I stumbled across this on Amazon - less than a week later the Cyano has all but gone.

Used it a per instructions increasing dose to the maximum 3g per 100l. Not only it didn't stop cyano it seems to do even better and growing over
